Fly Fishing
The clear Cape water and the dependency of the fish on terrestrial insects means that dry fishing can be had throughout the day September to May. Most of the time visible feeding fish allow for sight fishing. The streams are full of self sustaining populations of trout which as a result of careful catch and release programs are entirely wild.
The rivers are divided into beats so that an experience of tranquility and privacy in which to fish is guaranteed. Water regulations prevent more than two anglers fishing the same beat. Beats are arranged depending on your energetic desires and fitness levels, so fishing spots can be arranged that require just stepping out of the car or involve some hiking.
Opening hours: 07h00 to 17h00 Fishing Hours (Daylight hours only). Booking essential minimum 24 hours notice. Booking office is closed on weekends so if you wish to fish on these days please book in advance. Longer notice periods secure the best waters. Please note that enquiries are welcome from visiting anglers, to whom all possible assistance will be given.
